Dr. Pam Margolis brings a dynamic blend of educational expertise, civic leadership, and creative advocacy to her work as an educational consultant. With over 15 years of experience designing inclusive reading programs and championing diversity in children’s literature through her platform, An Unconventional Librarian, Pam has become a trusted voice in equity-centered education. Her commitment to public service is equally robust. Since 2022, she has served as a Township Supervisor in Perkiomen Township, Pennsylvania, and was elected Chair of the Board in 2025. Pam’s leadership in local government reflects her belief that education and civic engagement are deeply intertwined—and that both are essential to building equitable communities. Pam holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Curriculum and Instruction from West Chester University and a Master’s in Public Service from the Clinton School of Public Service. Her interdisciplinary background informs her consulting work, where she helps schools and organizations create programs that are both academically rigorous and socially responsive.
